Kings Mountain Firehouse BBQ Cookoff, Kings Mountain, NC    April 20-21, 2007

The Kings Mountain Fire Museum sponsors the Kings Mountain Firehouse BBQ Cookoff each year on the third weekend of April. The Firehouse Cookoff is recognized as a North Carolina State Championship Event and is sanctioned by KCBS.

Congratulations to NCBS member Dale Duckworth and his team Willy T’s for their Reserve Grand Champion win along with coming in first in pork. The Grand Champion was Courtney’s Low Country. Jack’s Old South came in third, Primo-Oval Rulers came in fourth followed by Checked Pig at fifth.
