15th Annual Battle of the BBQ, Lake Gaston, NC   May 26, 2007

Fifteen cookers competed for showmanship and culinary awards in the 15th Annual Battle of the BBQ at Lake Gaston, NC on May 26, 2007. As always the competition was fierce. Joe Peterson won the number one spot in the Culinary division, followed by Leslie Deaton in second place, David Burke in third place and Mark Johnson in fourth. Number one in the showmanship category was Steve Ivey followed by Joe Peterson in second place.
